Educating Spring Snows at the top of the migration, you do the math. Oh and by the way that’s how many fell on camera!

Looks like hunting paradise! I’m off to your website next…was recommended to me by some buddies who had the time of their lives, couldn’t say enough good things about FHO!

Who recommended you? If you’re thinking about coming up this Fall let me know asap. We do have some openings but lots of guys calling and trying to work out dates etc. Must be that time of year.

I could never kill something so free just for sport.
The music that is played with this clip sounds like front of the lines type music. Why don’t you just go fight a war or enlist in he army opposed to killing free innocent birds?
I never understood hunting for sport.
Unless I was dying of hunger of course.
I eat birds of all varieties but I just couldn’t kill for sport.

Most all of us hunters don’t kill for sport. We kill to put meat on the table. I’m sure you eat hamburger and what they do to cows is alot worse then how we get our meat.

@spankbandit
It’s not entirely for sport. It is law that you eat what you kill.

if people did not hunt these birds they would destroy so many crops that many people would not be able to eat and if i remember right there is already a problem w world hunger. geese, particularly snows, eat crops from the root up giving them plant no chance of surviving

It does kind of seem like they are taking cheap shots sporadically in a huge group. That doesn’t sound fun to me, but, to each his own (so long as they’re not wasting the birds)

@spankbandit
just because mcdonalds doesn’t offer doesn’t mean people don’t eat it and do some research if the geese aren’t hunted and killed out some then they eat up all the crops….they die…then we die. there has to be a balance where i live farmers will let you hunt in their fields just so that you’ll save their crops from the huge amounts of geese. so please don’t make stupid uneducated remarks.
